The Development of Ink Cartridges Brings Changes to the Printing World

The introduction of inkjet printer and printer ink cartridges in 1984 has modified the task of printing. Now, printing documents and changing printer ink cartridges has become more convenient, steadfast and uncomplicated than the age long method of altering ribbons or putting a toner cartridge. All the printer users are frenetically looking for the best means to change their run out printer cartridge and the development of cartridges has provided them with the right solution.

Prior to the introduction of printer cartridges, the ink delivery processes were not as simple as they are now. The inkjet system took the place of old matrix method, which required conventional method of changing a ribbon. It had not been pretty long time before the printer industry began designing a new process of ink delivery technique, incorporating the drop in method. A number of companies were working together to develop the inkjet technology, and by 1990 the process got widespread recognition. Today, this method is used for printing activities, and will print both Black and White documents as well as color graphics and photos.

Fortunately the quality of printer ink is excellent and provides superiority in printing. It can print on many different sizes and types of paper, fabric, etc. While each printer manufacturer suggests original printer cartridge, try out refilling the cartridge yourself, or buy a refilled, remanufactured or a compatible cartridge.

Generally, two types of refilled cartridges available: you can do-it yourself with refill kit. These kits are inexpensive and are sometimes the ideal choice of those who wants to do the refilling job in order to save money. The other option is to purchase a refilled cartridge from a manufacturer.  A remanufactured cartridge or a compatible cartridge is an original printer ink cartridge that has been manufactured keeping in mind the OEM specifications. It is tried and tested before being put to re-sell. The technologies used in these cartridges are usually guaranteed against faults during the life of the cartridge. The longevity of these cartridges is generally the same as the original printer ink and they are safe to use in any printer. Moreover, using these cartridges may not void the warranty of your printer and the cost is typically very low than the original cartridge.

Again, another kind of inexpensive cartridge that has evolved presently is the compatible cartridge. In short, it is a special kind of printer ink that is built to the same specifications as those of the original manufacturer. It is also thoroughly checked and evaluated against defects for a guaranteed better performance.
